A side panel that docks beside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Kimi K2, and GLM — save checkpoints, inject your project package, and fold replies back into your Jar, all while you work.
Free with every Jar plan.
Version 2.4.3 · Chrome & Edge · side panel · ~22 KB
Chrome & Edge · one-click install
Click the download button above. Find jarforai-extension.zip
in your Downloads, right-click it, and choose Extract All
(Windows) or double-click it (Mac). You'll get a folder — remember where it is.
In Chrome, type chrome://extensions into the address bar and
press Enter. (On Edge, use edge://extensions.)
Top-right of that page, flip the Developer mode switch on. A new row of buttons appears.
Click Load unpacked, then select the folder you unzipped in step 1. The JarForAI icon appears in your toolbar.
Click the puzzle-piece icon in your toolbar, then the pin next to JarForAI so it's always visible. Now click the Jar icon — the panel docks to the side of your browser and stays there while you work. Sign in with your jarforai.com email and password. That's it — you're set for 90 days.
Open ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Kimi K2, or GLM, click the Jar icon, and the Jar panel docks to the side. Pick a project, then save a checkpoint (give it a label!) or inject your package — the panel stays open while you work.
Jar keeps your project memory alive across AI sessions. Start a chat in one AI, save your work, and pick it up later in another — no re-explaining.
Works across six AIs: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Kimi K2, and GLM.
Paste your continuation package into any AI. It boots and greets you. Your project is live.
Talk to the AI. Build things. Make decisions. Jar tracks the context in the background.
Say checkpoint or save when you hit a milestone.
The AI writes a structured commit — decisions, not chatter.
Checkpoints stack up as pending. When you're ready, save them to the package. Now they're part of your permanent record.
Generate a fresh package. Paste it into the next session. Everything carries over.
In the Chrome side panel, every action is one click:
The panel docks to the side of your browser. Click the toolbar icon to open it. Click the × to close.
Type these to the AI anytime:
status — shows what's saved and what's still open.save / checkpoint — commits your work.A good checkpoint captures the decision, not the discussion. Every filename, version number, and value gets preserved exactly.
That way, when you reload the package weeks later, nothing feels vague. You can reconstruct exactly what changed.
Save at milestones — don't wait until the chat is huge. The AI will prompt you every 15–20 exchanges, or before a big task. Take the prompt. Your future self will thank you.
Yes — the extension is included with every Jar plan at no extra cost. You just need a jarforai.com account to sign in.
It's in Chrome Web Store review. Google checks every extension before it's listed, which takes a few days. The early-access zip lets you use it now; once approved, you'll get the one-click "Add to Chrome" button.
It's the exact same code we submitted to Google for review. The zip install just skips the store's listing step. If you'd rather wait for the official store version, that's completely fine — leave your email and we'll tell you the day it's live.
Chrome 114+ and recent Chromium browsers — Edge, Brave, Opera (the side panel needs a 2023-or-newer version). Firefox and Safari aren't supported yet.
Only the AI chat pages you use it on, so it can read the conversation you choose to capture. It signs in to your own Jar account and does nothing else. It never reads other tabs or sites.
You're out of tokens for today. Upgrade your plan to keep going, or wait until tomorrow — your daily quota resets at midnight UTC.
